Exclaiming
“This is heaven!” the soldiers of Attalos II, King of
Pergamom, founded the city of “Attalia” (present day
Antalya). Due to its natural and archaeological
richness, Antalya is also known as the Turkish Riviera.
Here, the sun and sea, nature and history combine to form a very popular resort, highlighted by some
of the cleanest beaches in the Mediterranean. The 630km
shoreline of the province is liberally scattered with
ancient cities, harbors, memorial tombs, beaches,
secluded coves and lush forests, many of which are
easily accessible from the city.

houses– Ancient cities: Perge, Termessos, Phaselis,
Simena, Demre, antalya, Aspendos…

Kolle (boiled wheat, beans, chickpeas), meat sautéed

“arapasi” (chicken soup) tandir kebab(oven cooked lamb)
