  Sultanahmet district is the historicl part of Istanbul, where Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Sultans, Haghia Sophia the world famous basilica ,The Blue Mosque, all Roman’s, Byzantine’s and Ottoman’s remains can be seen , next to each other , at a walking distance from the hotels.

  This is maybe the biggest “Open Air Museum” in the World , and as so, is very touristic .

  However this is the best base to discover all its jewels of our history.
